In my class, Culture Race and Media I learned about the concepts- "The other" and "writing with authenticity". True work has to be produced with understanding especially dealing with exceptions to the norm. I decided to take on a hot button topic close to my heart, mental illness.
I created a social media campaign for the National Alliance of Mental Health, this campaign was aimed to target the everyday social media user and ask them to see their normal world through the eyes of someone different.
